Wedding Venues in the Vanguard Directory

Wedding venues rent space for ceremonies and receptions: barns, gardens, vineyards, hotel ballrooms, restaurants, historic homes, rooftops and dedicated event halls. Some provide only the room; others bundle tables, chairs, catering, bar service and a coordinator. Couples arrive on this page early in planning, because the venue sets the date, the guest count and a large share of the budget before anything else can be booked.

Venues hold a general business license and, if they serve alcohol, a liquor license; ask about the latter, along with the legal occupancy limit, which the fire marshal sets and which caps your guest list. Ask what the site fee includes and what is extra: tables, linens, setup and teardown, a sound system, parking, security, a rain plan. Ask whether you must use in-house catering or a preferred vendor list, whether there is a food and beverage minimum, how many hours you get and when the music must stop. Ask about deposit size, the payment schedule and the cancellation terms in writing. Many venues can point you to caterers and florists who already know the space.

The venues on this page submitted their own listings, and a person checked each before it was published. If you run a wedding or event venue, apply to get listed — free, and it takes minutes.
