A replacement quote should say whether the old roof is torn off or covered over, how rotten decking will be priced, which underlayment and ventilation are included, and who handles the permit and cleanup. Ask how the manufacturer warranty differs from the roofer’s workmanship warranty. Be wary of anyone who offers to waive your insurance deductible.
