Home Security Technicians in the Vanguard Directory
Home security technicians install and service the equipment that watches a property when nobody is there: intrusion alarms, door and window sensors, cameras, video doorbells, smart locks and the panel that ties them together. Most people arrive here after a break-in down the street, a move into a house with an old system, or a monitoring contract they want out of.
Many states license alarm companies, and some license individual installers too, so ask for the license and look it up. The bigger questions are about the contract. Is the equipment yours or leased, how long is the monitoring term, and what does cancelling cost? Ask who answers an alarm at night — the company’s own monitoring center or a third party — and whether the system reports over cellular rather than a phone line that can be cut. For wiring beyond low-voltage work, an electrician may be the right call.
Each security listing on this page came from the company itself and was read by a person before it went live. If you install or service alarm and camera systems, apply to get listed — free, and it takes a few minutes.
